Internship Experience:
Indorama Polymers, Thailand 2008
International Internship was like a dream come true for me. While staying and working in a country which has a high growth rate and is a host to the entire world for health tourism, I was able to grasp global and international issues.
Indorama Polymers is world’s second largest company for manufacturing PET resins and it had almost everything that I wanted to see as well as learn: a global operation, manufacturing units, strategy formulation and marketing products which was B2B.
In Thailand I found people with great hospitality inherited from their own history and culture. There was so much to learn not in terms of technical and business knowledge but cultural as well. In the span of 2 months I worked in various departments of Indorama at different locations within the country and managed to do a couple of projects as well. This experience helped me so much in understanding International marketing concepts and cross cultural management which is the back bone of the Pearl MBA curriculum.
Now I feel more confident about international management; in the second year we had courses relating to culture, international business and cross-cultural management and this was something that I had already experienced personally. Internship helped me much to understand it better and it reflected in my performance as well. I would definitely say thanks to PSB for giving me an opportunity to fine tune my career.

international Experience:
Indorama Petforms, Thailand 2008
I did my internship at Indorama Petforms Ltd.
While living and working in Thailand I not only understood different dimensions of work but was exposed to altogether different culture and work style of the people out there. It helped me to understand global management; I had always wondered how companies could manage worldwide communication and operations. While living in Thailand and working at Indorama, I found answers to a lot of my questions.
I also learned and understood Cross cultural communication and techniques. International Internship helped me a lot in terms of building my career and deepening my understanding.
