The Pearl School of Business (PSB) was established in 2006 by the Little People Education Society, which is a registered trust. PSB has collaboration with Babson College, USA which is a world renowned institution in business and entrepreneurship education.

Our endeavor in PSB is on becoming a leading school of business in India and Asia. We distinguish ourselves from most business schools in India in terms of our commitment to and focus on entrepreneurship education as well as on innovation and technology management and international business. Our approach to education will be holistic and it will focus on participative and action learning.

We have set a much broader mandate for ourselves - a mandate to nurture and create entrepreneurs as well as help in improving and professionalizing management practices of organizations.

Our collaboration with Babson has the purpose of improving the capacity and quality of entrepreneurship research and education. The essence of the collaboration is a long term strategic vision of, the improvement of teaching and research in entrepreneurship.

We are in the process of entering into a strategic partnership with Nottingham Trent University, UKto benefit from its Academic Standards and Quality Systems Nottingham Business School would award the degrees, subject to a successful validation, for our MBA and Executive MBA programs.

Our aim is to make a difference in the quality of business and entrepreneurship education and practices in India and Asia leading to superior knowledge, technological and entrepreneurial leadership, wealth creation and industrial pride. We are entering the field of entrepreneurship education with a position of strength as one of the well-reputed and respected management school - Babson College of USA is our academic partner.

For us research is as valuable as the quality of teaching. Our faculty will be committed to research that is of high standard and rigor, and helps to add value to the business practice. Our focus on case writing and case research and closer ties with industry will help us to design academic programs with practical relevance and value.

We are starting with a full time two year MBA programme, an eighteen month Executive MBA (EMBA) programme. Our programs would have a strong emphasis on Action Learning requiring the students to take up projects for practical implementation and use the learning’s in the field for class room discussions through cases. Entrepreneurship is all about putting ideas into action and bringing dreams into reality. Hence we would stress learning by doing through out the programme of education.

Soon, we would start a full time BBA programme of three years duration facilitating entrepreneurial and managerial mind set building right from the school leaving stage. We would try to inculcate the spirit of enterprise, independent enquiry and a disciplined way of working in the young students fresh out of school.

In order to realize these plans it is imperative that we set up the required facility and infra-structure from start. We will be doing that through our facility in Sector 32, Gurgaon. This campus would have adequate lecture halls, syndicate rooms, library, computer center, auditorium and a modern cafeteria. In the near future we would be moving to our own fully integrated campus which would have all facilities including residential hostels for students, a fully equipped Executive Development Centre with residential facility and faculty housing.

The aim is to bring the best in academia, industry interface and infrastructure to build a truly world class facility in order to unleash the potential of young minds to excel in their life pursuits after education.

It is with this commitment and excitement that I look forward to PSB’s first step in the journey of creating a world class institution for management and entrepreneurship education in India.
